The Data Engineer is a new role within their team. Reporting into the Head of Infrastructure and working closely with the Data Analysts and Developers you’ll play a pivotal role in their efforts to unify data and present a singular, well structured view of various datasets, that can be easily used by the wider business.
The platform is built on AWS and you’ll be making use of a variety of AWS services including RedShift, S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, Lambba and more.
As this is a new role within the team, it’s important that you can demonstrate;
- Prior Python development experience including (consuming API’s and working with CSV on JSON data formats)
- SQL experience
- Experience creating ETL / ELT pipelines
- Working knowledge of Linux
Any AWS S3, AWS RedShift or Data warehousing experience would be highly desirable.
