THE COMPANY:
Harnham is partnered with a world-renowned, award-winning entertainment company who are undergoing exciting new changes. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their new team of likeminded individuals to reach their goals and further develop the company. If you are successful, you will be joining a world-renowned company which has a high priority in promoting a diverse and inclusive culture throughout the entirety of the company.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Engineer, you will be pivotal in the development of API’s to extract data in order for it to be analysed. You will be working with cutting edge technologies within GCP to build data pipelines in both real time and in batch. You will be working within an exciting team of likeminded individuals within the data and technology team.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The Ideal Software Engineer will have:
‘ Prior commercial software experience
High Proficiency working with Python with an ability to code from scratch
Extensive commercial experience within GCP and SQL
Strong experience with using Airflow for ETL pipeline building
Strong experience working with Spark and Terraform
THE BENEFITS:
The successful Software Engineer will receive a salary, dependent on experience between 40,000 and 80,000. On top of the salary, a successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to work within a world-renowned company on exciting new projects.
