Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Engineer.
100% REMOTECONTRACT ROLE
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the programs and the data that drives them
- Critical thinking, problem solving, conducting analyses
- Create automated analytical processes to assess continuously changing and new incoming data for accuracy, anomalies, and issues
- Test case creation and automation
- Double coding (SQL) new builds
- Build and/or maintain complex Stored Procedures and SSIS packages
- Perform deep-dives into both data and SQL stored procedures to determine where issues stem
- Understanding Business Requirements and converting them to Test cases by deriving Acceptance criteria
- Will translate business needs to technical specifications
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Evaluate and improve SQL queries (performance tuning)
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update QA documentation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of SQL scripting
- 3+ years SSIS
