Position Summary:
Commercial facing data analyst required to manage territory & data alignment in relation to CRM, ERP & Data Warehouses. The candidate will have the ability prescribe, correct & proactively seek to ensure that data is correctly assigning to account & territories. Role will be a trusted SME on data integrity to sales & internal commercial functions.
The successful candidate is process driven & with the ability to understand complex data issues with ease. A superior level of technical expertise is required in addition to a pragmatic & collaborative attitude.
Key Goals & Responsibilities:
- Ability to simplify & present large volumes of complex data easily.
- Drives uniformity in processes & tools.
- Expert user of multiple systems e.g. Cognos, SQL, SAP, Salesforce
- Participates integration projects from a data mapping/revenue history perspective.
- Ability to produce simple analysis quickly to answer questions from sales & functional areas.
- Proactive problem solver with a focus on ensuring that any issues are swiftly resolved.
- Key contributor annual territory alignment project from an EMEA perspective.
- Collaborates cross functionality & gains buy in of colleagues.
- Ensure data integrity is upheld from a sales territory perspective.
- Seeks out ways to automate & improve processes using lean methodologies.
- Maintenance of key documents e.g. product sales bag
How will these be achieved? Include day to day activities
- Continually assess current process & seeks innovative ways to drive efficiencies.
- Key point of contact for territory alignment/data projects
- Act as a subject matter expert for data integrity
- Processes, cleanses & validates data used for sales analytics/compensation
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Expert in Microsoft Excel (beneficial Power Query)
- Proficiency in query languages e.g. SQL
- Knowledge of R and/or Phyton beneficial.
- Experience of BI tools, preferably Cognos.
- Significant relevant experience in similar role
- Exposure to CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com, beneficial
- Understanding of sales teams & territory alignment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills & highly collaborative cross functionally
- Ability to work at speed while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Ability to maintain a flexible attitude to changing priorities.
