The Role
- the needs of internal and external customers and develop analytical reporting processes to support those customers.
- Create user-friendly tools to allow users to interact with Rising data.
- Develop product and line of business analysis.
- Develop and refine quality and timeliness measures.
- Identify, report, and assist with business data issues and validations.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance own job skills and knowledge.
- Strive to adhere to the Rising Core Value of delighting customers, above and beyond the call of duty, and coach team to do the same.

Requirements
Education/Training
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
- Possess a strong understanding of the business practices of the work comp or managed care industries.
Experience
- 4+ years experience with SQL, PostGreSQL, Excel, data analysis, and ad-hoc query development
- 2+ years experience with Tableau
- 2+ years experience working with data files (Fixed Width, Delimited, XML)
- Other medical/health care/insurance industry experience a plus
- Medical bill review or workers compensation experience, or administrative support for utilization review a plus

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, medical reports, contract language, state laws and fee schedules, and CPT codes a plus

- Highly organized and focused
- Ability to identify and evaluate problems and areas needing improvement, recommending solutions to management
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency with Tableau preferred
