The Data Analyst will work with data from diverse structured and unstructured data sources from sponsored clinical studies, physician-initiated studies, and public and private datasets. This role will work closely with the Data Scientist and the Director of Clinical Affairs on all data analysis and data management tasks related to sponsored clinical studies and physician-initiated studies to help deliver significant measurable impact of AngioDynamics' products to the health care system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
‘ Provide validated datasets, tables, listings, and figures for clinical studies.
‘ Develop edit specifications to assure the accuracy of clinical data.
‘ Create validated status reports using SAS.
‘ Create data visualization tools to increase transparency and communication internally.
‘ Provide data management support on electronic data capture systems being used in ongoing clinical studies.
‘ May perform other duties as assigned
‘ Manages in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements

Education and Experience
‘ Bachelors Level of Degree in the Math, Statistics, Computer Science or other analytical based field of study
‘ Equivalent work related experience acceptable in lieu of degree: YES
‘ 2 years of demonstrated experience in analysis of complex clinical and health care data preferred
‘ No Certifications Required
‘ Any preferred education, experience or certifications: SAS certification
‘ Experience in the following computer software applications: SAS desired, experience with additional programming languages preferred.
‘ Exceptional interpersonal skills.
‘ Strong organizational skills.
‘ Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
‘ Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
‘ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
