This position will support Pharmacy Reporting & Analytics for Rx Quality in compliance with the overall Data Analytics Strategy. Solutioning business needs building reports and analyses that drive business decisions. Develop the data solution along with transformation and quality checks. Design output, be it self-service capabilities to pull data, long-standing dashboards to reflect impacts of improvements or ad hoc support. Work closely within the ERA (Enterprise Reporting & Analytics) team with access to data sources and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) from across OptumRx. Ongoing work will be to adjust metrics definitions, align with other areas of OptumRx, pull new data sets, build enhancements, steer improvements, and maintain solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop automation, publication and maintenance of data visualizations, reports, and dashboards
- Analyze client requirements and complex business scenarios for the purposes of designing innovative, analytical, fully automated reporting, and analytics solutions
- Act as a project manager to execute key projects and deliverables
- Identify opportunities for improvements, simplifications, and risk reduction in business processes
- Oversee maintenance of 30+ report portfolio

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with relational databases and database structures, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or other large enterprise-scale relational database management system
- 2+ years of experience writing/developing SQL queries
- Proficiency with MS Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience developing in business intelligence/visualization solutions (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with cloud solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks)
- Development experience using Alteryx (or equivalent ETL tool such as SSIS, etc.)
- Intermediate level of database structures & design
- Healthcare or insurance data experience
- Project management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a challenging dynamic atmosphere
- Excellent critical thinking and problem problem-solving skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
