Job Type: Full Time, Permanent – Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)

The Role
As a Data Analyst your role will consist of supporting and assisting the procurement workflow within the company to maximise revenue and profitability. Through data analysis you will ensure that their stock is kept at optimum levels avoiding excessive overstock whilst also keeping OOS's to a minimum. You will be responsible for developing and future proofing reports, processes and procedures for the continuous monitoring of inventory performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyse top performing inventory, profitability and market trends.
- Analyse data to avoid excessive overstock and keep out of stocks to a minimum.
- Develop and implement new data reports as required to assist with the ordering process to maximise revenue and/or profitability while maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Monitor shipments and communicating product arrival information with relevant teams.
- Ad hoc duties as required within the department.
Requirements:
- Proven data analysis experience and skills.
- Good business acumen.
- Excellent Excel skills & ability to learn various systems, familiarity with Linnworks is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and ability to present reports and projects to the relevant teams.
- Good time management skills required to reach strict deadlines with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Ecommerce platform experience such as Amazon and EBAY is beneficial.
- Enthusiastic team player that takes pride in their work with the ability to adapt to challenges & find suitable solutions.
- Keen to learn and develop skill set.
- Interest in motorbikes an advantage but not essential.
