As part of the next phase of our strategy we are growing our Cloud Solutions, Architecture and Engineering teams. You will work alongside colleagues developing highly compelling enterprise customer cloud solutions, enabling the development, migration, modernisation and innovation of workloads, applications, and services to and through the cloud.

As a Cloud Engineering Lead, what will I be doing?
You will be responsible for building a highly skilled, technically strong, diverse, motivated and enthusiastic team of engineers that will self-form into delivery squads for our clients.

You will have credibility and proven delivery experience and are passionate about building and maintaining the highest quality of solution delivery for clients.

You will thrive seeing the success of others, helping engineers build their development and career plans, plus coaching your team.

You will assess and evaluate potential solutions, working with our Multi-cloud architects and industry strategists to shape and design optimal solutions.

You and your team will them execute against these design to deliver the solution.

The ideal candidate will have experience over IaaS, PaaS and SaaS engineering and solutioning.

Track record of building and growing successful, highly motivated teams.
What are some of the characteristics of the great Cloud Engineering Leads we seek?

Enthusiastic about all things public cloud. Experience with hands on implementation on platforms including at least one of: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud.

Interested in understanding the wider business context of a client and how technology can enable their required outcomes.

As well as public cloud, you can show experience in one or more related cloud technology areas that interests you, for example: DevSecOps, containers, serverless, APIs, continuous delivery patterns, IaC, cloud native app development’

Strong problem solver with creative streak and critical thinking. Loves finding innovative solutions for clients using those skills.

Enjoy working collaboratively and leading within strong teams who support and puss each other to succeed and learn.

Can communicate complex topics to technical and non technical audiences both internally and sometimes externally.

Deeply curious with a strong desire to continuously learn, improve and understand the technology driving the industry and how it can unlock value for our customers.

That learning journey includes an eagerness to hold technical cloud certifications with public cloud providers at ‘pro’ level, always with one eye on which to do next.
