This position is a 24+ month contract for one of our key clients, an American Multinational Information Technology Company.
Business Data Analyst
Location – Spring, TX onsite

Responsibilities
- Defines and implements models to uncover patterns and predictions creating business value and innovation.
- Mines data using modern tools and programming languages. Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope.
- Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Works with project team to understand problem statements, initiates and direction.
- Tells stories with the data using visualization tools/methods to demonstrate insight impact. Assures accuracy, integrity, and compliance of cleansed data.
- Maintains proficiency within the data science domain by keeping up with technology and trend shifts. Collaborates and communicates with project team regarding project progress and issue resolution and suggests changes or improvements.
- Improve the efficiency of the operations by generate business intelligence (BI) reports using various platforms to visualize data insights Build data models and algorithms to predict software and hardware quality Responsibility to support team resources in testing, application, integration, product, regression and user acceptance validation Coordinated and performed software testing: developed QA test cases, created test scripts, release notes, and verified user requirements.
- Knowledge & Skills Using statistics, mathematics, algorithms and programming languages.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid grasp of structured and unstructured data and modern data transformation methodologies
- Ability to create models to pull valuable insights from data.
- Create stories and visualizations to describe and communicate data insights.
- Demonstrable examples of how your data insights uncovered the why behind the data and resulted in substantial improvements
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment to achieve a common result Knowledgeable in SQL, and experienced design and build BI reports using Tableau or Power BI Good grasp of data analytics tools such as Python, or any scripting language Good analytical skill; good sense on numbers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently, proactive and under tight deadlines Creative, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate data insights negotiate options.
Good project management and multitasking skill Willingness to learn Education & Experience Required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent. Typically 2-4 years experience including graduate or postgraduate research. Must
