Backend Software Engineer Reigate / WfH to £95k
Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net Core Azure AWS) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a technologist with strong Cloud and microservices experience? You could be progressing your career in a senior hands-on role at a global FinTech with the insurance space.
As a Backend Software Engineer you will provide subject matter expertise, collaborating with the Lead Architect to guide best practice for SaaS cloud based microservices backend systems and CI/CD pipelines. Youll work closely with product teams and business stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, converting them to user stories, defining and documenting systems architectures and making recommendations on suitable, high performance solutions for Azure and on-premise infrastructures. You will remain hands-on, coding with C# .Net Core, employing SOLID principles.
Theres a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home most of the time, visiting the Reigate office around six times a month for team meet-ups, stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
- You have experience of architecting, designing and implementing cloud based SaaS solutions, ideally with Azure but AWS is also fine
- You have strong C# .Net Core backend development skills with experience of developing highly available, scalable systems
- You have experience with Kubernetes and Docker and a good understanding of modern microservices
- Youre able to produce PoC using the latest technology and present findings
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
