Backend Engineer Java Node x 4

Are you a Back End Engineer with core skills in Java and Node? Excellent opportunity to join an early stage company, that has recently secured “series A” funding, who are developing an AI platform focused on data-driven health, from diagnostics to automation. The vision is to create the world's first cross-industry multi-modal AI platform using a combination of well-known machine learning techniques as well as their own proprietary algorithms.The core skills required are Java and Node together with good exposure to one of the cloud providers. DevOps and Python skills are a bonus. This is a remote wfh based role with monthly team get togethers.Key responsibilities:Develop the core products and services meeting quality assurance needs.Collaborate with other programmers to design and implement features.Research and analyse customer requirements.Develop and maintain DevOps pipeline.Communicate key project data to team members.Develop and execute project plans.Contribute to developing the strategy for technology platforms to align to the overall company strategy and vision.Ideal candidate profile:Computer Science/STEM backgroundExcellent Java 14+ experience, including algorithmic developmentPython development skillsExperience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOpsExperience in data engineeringExperience of working in small teamsGood communication skillsExperience in deploying to cloud platformsTech StackGit / BitBucket / Jira / BitBucket pipelinesJava microservices using Vert.x and SpringNode.jsnginxdockerVue.js and vuetifyGood benefits package, bonus scheme and training budget.
