Azure Software Engineer
Position Description

Our Insurance team is growing and we are looking for high quality, passionate software engineers who want to use the latest Azure technology stack and services to build modern platforms to build new solutions and help our clients develop their own solutions
The demand for modernising insurance systems is growing, and there is a drive to create cloud native solutions able to take advantage of the rapid deployment and scaling that leveraging the Azure PaaS provides. You will be joining our product team to ensure these the new solutions are well engineered, take full advantage of Azure cloud native design, but also consider optimisation of the design for security and cost.

Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be a general Azure all-rounder, with a good understanding of Azure cloud platform services, and for this role you will be delivering and designing for scalability and security
You will collaborate with others and have a growth mind-set
Key individual contributor to successful delivery on a large product or project with applied knowledge and participation in full lifecycle development
Documenting Azure infrastructure design for technical delivery teams and client consumption
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience in cloud engineering delivering solutions with a focus on the Azure technology stack, working ideally on SaaS platform development;
Experience with Logic Apps and C#;
Experience of Azure PaaS including for example Azure API management; it would be advantageous for experience in hosted services such as MongoDB Atlas, Azure Kubernetes;
Desirable
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and academic achievements valued.
Azure certification, experience with Functions App, Event Grid and WebApps
Experience in working on solutions that have used Low Code platforms as part of the overall solution design, and what this means for development, testing and release approaches
Experience or familiarity with other cloud technology stacks (AWS, GCP)
