DevOps Engineer Up to 70,000 Fully Remote AWS, Terraform
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing organisation on a fully remote basis. You will work within a growing cloud team looking to build on and maintain their cloud infrastructure.
You will work closely with the Software Development, Business Intelligence, Customization, and AdOps Teams, splitting your time between business-as-usual practices, supporting the transition of code through pipelines into a live state from software development, and evolving and maintaining cloud infrastructure and project/service introduction activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the AWS infrastructure
- Continuously monitor and improve our overall performance, monitoring, and security
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of our deployment pipelines
- Operation and control of Cloud infrastructure (Virtual servers, platform services, network services and data storage)
- Monitor and help control AWS infrastructure spending
- Operation of the change/release process
- Application of cloud management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of cloud components
- Designing cloud services and capabilities using appropriate modelling techniques
Background/Technical skills:
- 2 years’ experience in a DevOps position
- 3 years’ experience in Infrastructure or Development Support role
- AWS and Terraform
- Containerisation technologies: Kubernetes, Far Gate, AWS ECS
- AWS Services
- ECS/ECR/Docker
- EC2/ASG/ALB
- Agile working practices
- Web services and database concepts
- ITIL
