Job Purpose
You will participate in the design, development, and testing of products and custom solutions targeted for Medical Imaging clients/projects. This includes development based on a defined system architecture and design, and working within a defined development process. You will receive architectural guidance from Senior Software Engineers and Managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with some commercial experience using either Java technologies looking to take the next step in their career.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in software design, specification, development and testing on a team of software and validation engineers
- Implement software features following defined design and architecture in support of Medical Imaging clients/projects/products
- Support technical consulting activities to clients in the pharmaceutical industry
- Develop and support clinical trial information sharing solutions
- Provide application support for existing software tools and products
- Write and implement Installation Qualifications for deployment of Medical Imaging products/projects within the testing and production environments
Essential Skills and Experience
- 1+ years' experience using Java in a commercial setting
- Object oriented design skills
- Detail oriented, flexible, and works well in a team-oriented environment
- Understanding of common system architecture frameworks and concepts
- Demonstrable ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks
