We are looking to hire an engineer to develop maintenance routines and maintenance system data.
Our work includes developing data structures to represent real-world machines and equipment to engineers and maintenance practitioners (technicians).
Ideally we would like to find someone who has plenty of experience across multiple companies, who is used to competently developing workable data structures within Asset Maintenance Systems.
Once these data structures have been developed, we would like our candidate to be able to gather maintenance requirements from legislative requirements, FMEA studies, OEM Manuals and interaction with our client stakeholders to sign off the work done and load the instructions into their systems.
The ideal person would have an understanding of spares & warehousing within these systems and be able to create Bills of Materials, get quotes and supply new materials upload requests to our clients.
We are aware that we aren't likely to find someone with all these skills.
Most important to us is a friendly, fresh and open-minded approach. We want to find people who feel they can learn and develop. Our ideal candidate will be personable and able to win friends within our client organisations and build trust.
Competent use of MS products including Excel and Word is a must – VBA and SQL skills are useful sometimes but not necessary and these things can be taught when needed.
Experience developing FLOC / Functional locations- maintenance concepts within CMMS, ERP and eAM systems is a definite bonus, though these things can also be taught.
